Wedding Harpist for Philadelphia Area Weddings

Let Mindy Cutcher help you plan the perfect music for your ceremony, reception or both. She has performed in over 700 weddings in the Philadelphia area and is familiar with most of the popular venues. Mindy can arrange almost any piece for the harp. Select from her extensive repertoire list or pick your favorite piece to walk down the aisle. Looking for more than just solo harp? The harp is a great accompanimental instrument as well. Choose having a flute, cello, violin or singer with the harp.

Frequently Asked Questions About Wedding Harpist in Philadel

How much does it cost?

Packages begin at $500 with events in the Philadelphia area. The fee includes set-up time and transporting a concert pedal harp.

How much do you play?

It depends on your ceremony. Music is always needed for the preludes (while guests are seated), processional for the wedding party, processional for the bride, a recessional and postlude. Sometimes you need music for parts of your mass, for a unity candle or a presentation of flowers.

Do you play outside?

Yes, but there are considerations for stringed instruments. The temperature can't be below 65 degrees; there can't be rain or direct sunlight. Also, the harp needs level ground, so a porch or sidewalk is great.

Can you keep playing for my cocktail hour?

Yes, and I do this a lot. The music keeps flowing when your ceremony and cocktails are at the same venue.

Is a solo harp enough sound?

Yes, a concert harp has a big, rich sound and is loud enough for outside weddings. For more sound at cocktail hours, I can amplify myself.

How can I book you?

Please contact me with your date, time and location. I can send a contract for you to sign to book your date.
